Welcome to the web site of monochrome landscape photographer Jefferson Hammond LRPS

"Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all know it. Know it for all you are worth and you will know the key to photography."
George Eastman
My most recent black and white photographs can be seen in the Recent Images Gallery whilst you can read a little bit about my background and approach to photography here.

Currently my main area of interest lie in producing a series of largely black and white photographs depicting the landscapes of the  Welsh Marches which includes parts of the English counties of Herefordshire and  Shropshire and the old former Welsh county of Radnorshire, now part of Powys.

I am also currently spending time exploring and photographing the remote and often desolate landscapes of the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales.

Based in the Welsh Marches, I am available to undertake commissions and to provide tailored workshops for community groups, photography clubs and individuals on a one-to-one or small group basis. I am also available to give talks on a wide range of photographic subjects and can provide technical advice and assistance on many aspects of digital photography.
